CFLA Membership Benefits – How to Show Your Support
The basic purpose of society/association is to be part of a collective movement and move forward, together. Being a part of association is about taking everyone along; it is about making conscious, considerate decisions for the achievement of a common goal.
Social inequality, racial discrimination, economic disparity, and poverty are some of the major concerns of society today. As an organized social group, it is our duty to address these concerns and work towards the betterment of society. Cowichan Family Life grew out of a grassroots movement driven by concerned and caring people, who believed counselling services should be available to everyone and that people like you and I could learn the fundamental skills to provide quality-counselling support. One of the reasons why an association is important is that it gives you a framework to work together. CFLA provides you with a platform to be part of a collective effort towards improving social conditions; strengthening our community and helping individuals and families strengthen relationships and reach their full potentials.
By becoming a member, you show support for the agency and the work we do. It shows our funders that you value Cowichan Family Life Association.
